Purifying Water for 79 Years and Counting
Clack Corporation's journey began in 1944 when Bill Clack and his father Willis opened a small water softener exchange business in Madison, Wisconsin. Over the years, they expanded into a Wisconsin dealer network, offering the Golden Seahorse brand. By the 1960s, Clack had transitioned into a manufacturing and distribution company, producing brass control valves and improving the corrosion resistance of steel tanks. They distributed various components and resin, and in the 1970s, ventured into joint ventures in Belgium.
Richard Clack joined the company in 1970, focusing on blow molding components and creating a comprehensive line of brine tanks. In the 1980s, Clack started molding plastic water treatment components and introduced the Microline RO system. Rich became president and CEO in 1987, and during the 1990s, Clack expanded its plastic custom blow molding and enhanced water treatment component distribution globally.
In 2000, Clack launched an innovative electronic 1-inch plastic control valve, followed by a complete line of residential and commercial control valves. Today, Clack prides itself as one of the few family businesses that still manufacture products in the USA.
ATLAS FILTRI: WATER FILTRATION AND TREATMENT SINCE 1975
For more than 40 years, Atlas Filtri has been a leader in the water filtration and treatment industry. Our Italian-engineered design has launched us to the international forefront of both drinking water and industrial filtration, and the product range is constantly updated to offer new and customized solutions. In 2016 we invested in North America, entering a Joint Venture with Gary Fappiano and his distribution and sales representative company. The 24,000 square foot facility in Wallingford, Connecticut is our North American headquarters. This facility is fully staffed with local, industry-experienced personnel to expand our distribution and OEM business. Our assembly line, stocking center, and customer support operations have grown to meet our rapidly expanding market presence. Atlas Filtri continues to invest globally so that we may better understand and meet the requirements of worldwide markets. Our home office, based in Padua, Italy, manages the production and distribution of products to more than 90 countries.
